Why I Voted Against the Democrats: Their Policies on Antisemitism, Israel, and the Middle East

Author Image
Daniel Sadan
Why the Democrats’ policies on Israel and the Middle East enable terrorism, undermine democracy, and embolden antisemitism, which is in stark contrast to Israel’s unmatched efforts to protect civilians and defend its sovereignty against existential threats, while serving as a safety net to diaspora Jews in case of another genocide.
"Rewarding terrorism emboldens extremists worldwide, destabilizing democracies and signaling to violent groups that aggression achieves political gains. This is not just Israel’s fight—it is a battle for the principles that safeguard all democratic nations."

The Democratic Party’s current approach to Israel, the Middle East, and domestic issues concerning Jewish communities is not only flawed but deeply dangerous to global security. It jeopardizes Israel’s existence, emboldens terrorism, destabilizes democracies, and facilitates antisemitism both abroad and at home. US antisemitism rates soared under Kamala and the Biden Administration to levels reminiscent of 1930's-era Nazi Germany. These are not my own words—they are Stephen Spielberg's. This article aims to dismantle the fallacies in the Democratic Party's narrative on Jews and Israel while laying out the truth behind Israel’s actions, the unparalleled challenges it faces, and why the Democrats’ policies are not only unjust but an imminent threat to global security.

The claim that Israel has not done enough to minimize civilian casualties is both false and offensive, particularly given the unprecedented lengths to which Israel has gone in this latest war against Hamas. Israel’s civilian-to-combatant casualty ratio stands at an incredible 1:1, which is unmatched in modern warfare. If Hamas’ inflated civilian casualty figures are excluded, that ratio drops below 1:1, a historic achievement in any combat scenario.

To put this into context, the United Nations considers a ratio of 9:1 civilians to combatants ratio to be normal in modern warfare. The United States and its allies, during campaigns in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other conflicts, often exceeded ratios of 4:1 or worse. Opinion Research Business (ORB) Survey reported up to 1.2 million civilian deaths in Iraq alone by 2007—many multiples of the combatant toll. The Watson Institute reports a figure of 4.5-4.7 million civilian deaths post-9/11 in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria, Yemen, and Somalia, while in Nigeria 40,000 Christians were slaughtered by Boko Haram, but the global liberal media and governments are focused on Israel and Gaza, with not a word about these other civilian deaths. Why is that?

Why Israel's focus on civilian safety is remarkable

What makes Israel’s achievement even more remarkable is the nature of the battlefield landscape. Gaza is one of the most densely populated areas on Earth, riddled with a labyrinthine tunnel network that dwarfs even the New York City subway system. These tunnels, built over years, and the above-ground structures are booby-trapped and designed to maximize civilian and Israeli casualties by embedding terror operations beneath schools, hospitals, and residential neighborhoods.

Weapons depots full of Russian, Chinese, North Korean, and Iranian weapons are stored right under sensitive civilian structures specifically in order to inflict maximum damage to Palestinian civilians and deter Israeli retaliation against Hamas rocket-launching and paramilitary strongholds. If you take the historic nature of this intense urban warfare, and compare it to modern wars in other parts of the world, the below-1:1 civilian to combatant casualty ratio becomes even more impressive.

Despite these challenges, Israel employs methods no other military in the world has ever attempted. They issue millions of push notifications, text messages, and phone calls to warn civilians before air strikes. They use roof-knockers—a tactic whereby a non-lethal munition is dropped on civilian structures' roofs to warn innocent bystanders of an impending air strike. These warnings are issued hours before any air strikes take place, in order to allow ample time for civilians to evacuate the battlefield.

On top of that, Israel has developed sophisticated technologies like the Delilah missile system, which allows air strikes to be aborted even after a missile has already been launched if civilians are detected by ground crews who scan the area with high-end video technology. If civilians are detected, the missile firing is aborted mid-flight, and the missile is sent back into the sky to loiter in the air until assigned a new target, or issued an order to self-destruct. The cost of developing and deploying such technologies is staggering, yet Israel willingly incurs these costs to save lives.

Israel’s military employs surgical strikes to an extent that no other nation in history has matched. Using advanced technology and intelligence, the IDF is not only capable, but has consistently targeted a single apartment in a high-rise building to neutralize a handful of terrorists while leaving the surrounding structure intact and civilians unharmed. This precision reflects the extraordinary lengths Israel goes to minimize collateral damage.

In any other conflict—whether in Iraq, Afghanistan, or Syria—such efforts are unheard of, as entire buildings, blocks, or even neighborhoods are typically destroyed in similar operations. Allied Forces return fire with massive retaliatory strikes—"shock and awe" is an American strategy, not an Israeli one, because there is a massive and unfair double-standard for Israel. Every other country is allowed to defend itself except for Israel. Yet critics continue to demand an impossible level of surgical precision from Israel, ignoring its unprecedented restraint and accuracy in isolating terrorists in carefully planned and orchestrated strikes.

What would happen if October 7th happened in the USA?

Imagine the United States facing an attack on the scale of October 7th by Mexican cartels. If you account for differences in population size between the US and Israel, the casualties incurred by Israel on October 7th were 20 times larger than 9/11, which would mean that the US would have lost 60,000 American civilians instead of "only" 3,000, and the cartels would have taken 5,000 American civilian hostages. As of this writing, that would mean that the cartels would still be holding 2,500 Americans to this day in dungeons underneath its major cities. Can you imagine the sheer magnitude of the American response to such an attack if the results of 9/11 led to millions of civilian deaths in the Middle East?

Given the extent of such an attack from Mexican cartels, do you think anyone would suggest that the US give away 25% of its land to appease the cartels? Just to give you an idea how much territory that is, that would be equivalent to the US giving Mexico all of the following states in return for peace with the cartels: Connecticut, Delaware, Rhode Island, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maryland, Massachusetts, West Virginia, South Carolina, and Maine.

Do you think that any American, be it in government or civilian life, would ever in their right mind insist that the US should cede such copious amounts of territory in order to put an end to cartel violence on the promise that they would stop dealing drugs, killing Americans and Mexicans, and destroying lives in their biggest global market—the United States? Would you trust the cartels to follow through? If you don't, you would be right to be skeptical of such a promise from the Sinaloa, Jalisco, or Juárez cartels? Did you know they even have a cartel called "Los Talibanes"? That's not a joke. Look it up. They also have one called "Los Viagras" which I find particularly entertaining, though I'm sure it has nothing to do with ED.

Back to my point, though. Even if you trusted the cartels with such a land-for-peace agreement, this proposal would be seen as absurd, an act of absolute surrender to a violent criminal organization that rewards terrorism and endangers every democracy worldwide. The same is true for Israel. Giving away territory to Hamas and the PLO would endanger every democracy in the world, because it would signal to terrorist organizations and criminal cartels throughout the world that such tactics are effective bargaining tools in massive land grabs or other concessions from peace-loving democratic countries. It would serve as a proof-of-concept for terrorism and international crime on a level we dare not imagine.

Why Israel has given enough already, and shouldn't be expected to give more

Yet, this is precisely what critics demand of Israel, a nation that has already given away far more than any reasonable observer could expect. In 1922, Britain gave away to the Hashemites 77% of the land promised to the Jews for a Jewish State, in order to create the Emirate of Transjordan, the first two-state solution where the Palestinians by all rights should be living today. Never mind the fact that Jordan is run by the Muslim Brotherhood, is 88% Palestinian, has a Palestinian Queen-consort from Kuwait, and a half-Palestinian Crown Prince who will one day be King of this Palestinian state.

It might also be worth mentioning that Jordan is unable to exist without copious amounts of Israeli assistance. They can't even provide their own people with water, much less govern their nation without Israeli support. The Hashemite King must bluster, and speak out against Israel, lest the Muslim Brotherhood overthrow him, and kill him and his entire family, but he knows the truth. He can't run his country without Israeli help, so how would another Palestinian state like Gaza function? Need I remind you that they willingly elected Hamas as their government in a free and fair election process?

Countless times, Israelis offered citizenship to Palestinians, made incredible land deals to achieve peace, as in the return of the Sinai to Egypt, which resulted in what?... Nothing short of a large Egyptian buildup of missile silos pointed directly at Israel from the once-Israeli peninsula, and a tremendous amount of matériel, fuel, and tank divisions (which are illegally present in clear violation of Egypt's peace treaty with Israel) running war games, and preparing for a massive invasion of Southern Israel.

Also, what business does an impoverished state like Egypt have—which relies on more than $3B per year from US taxpayers to feed its people—buying 700 new M1 Abram Tanks which are entirely too expensive for Egypt to maintain? Who are they protecting themselves from? Sudan? Libya? They have no quarrel with their neighbors... except of course, for Israel. Why are those US tanks positioned near the Suez Canal where they can be mobilized by amphibious vehicles for an invasion of Southern Israel?

Land-for-peace does not work. The enemies of Israel seek its destruction, and even supposed "peace" deals with Arab nations like Egypt, Jordan, and entities like the PLO are always done in reference to the Treaty of al-Hudaybiya with a wink and a nod to Arab media to assure their anti-Israel allies that there will be no peace, as Yasser Arafat openly did again and again. The UAE only normalized because they wanted F-35's. They sponsor terrorism all across the Middle East and North Africa. Right now, they are doing this with Al-Assad and Putin in Syria, and so is the KSA. So, is this normalization really a "peace" offer? I think not.

The Democrats' mishandling of Egypt

In regard to Egypt, one of the most critical failures of the Biden Administration during the Gaza War was its refusal to pressure Egypt into opening the Rafah Border Crossing. This could have allowed Gazan civilians to escape the combat zone into the Sinai, reducing casualties and enabling Israel to conduct its operations more efficiently against Hamas, while allowing the US and other international humanitarian organizations to build refugee camps that would make it easy to provide aid to those in need. Instead, by refusing to apply diplomatic pressure on Egypt, the US effectively trapped Palestinian civilians inside Gaza, allowing Hamas to use them as human shields.

This decision played directly into Hamas’ hands, forcing Israel into the impossible task of fighting an intense (almost impossible) urban war while being unfairly criticized by the international community for civilian casualties, supporting the Soviet hybrid warfare strategy of Hamas and the PLO—a situation exacerbated entirely by liberal Western inaction, as well as active Democratic Party interference with Israeli counterterrorism operations that are not only in the best interests of the West, but also in the best interests of the Arab world.

What the Arabs actually want

There is a good reason why Arabs throughout the Middle East cheered every time Israel eliminated Iranian proxy terrorist assets and leadership. The Arabs want Israel to eliminate the Muslim Brotherhood. They want Israel to attack Iran, which pits Western liberals against the wishes of the entire Middle East. Liberals think they're "helping" while the Middle East opposes their support of terrorism. True, Arabs may hate Israel, but believe it or not, they hate the Muslim Brotherhood and Iran even more than the Jews. That's why they did not take even a single Palestinian refugee into their country thus far.

It's been over a year, and no Arab nation has even offered this? Why? Because none of them want the Muslim Brotherhood inside their countries. In Kuwait, the Palestinians supported Saddam Hussein, and looted Kuwaiti homes, which is why Kuwait ethnically cleansed almost half a million Palestinians from their country. In Egypt, they are not welcome, even though more than half of "Palestinians" have a fictitious identity, and half are actually Egyptian, with names such as Al-Masri. Why hasn't Rania taken any Palestinians into Jordan? Why hasn't Saudi Arabia or the UAE? The Gulf Arabs know very well the danger that Palestinians pose to their countries with their radical Islamist and Salafi ideology.

In conjunction with this absurd foreign policy by the Democrats, which forces Israel to contend with a civilian population in the middle of a war zone against a paramilitary organization with tens of thousands of terrorist soldiers, Western liberal media and cultural giants like the American entertainment industry are similarly used in Hamas' asymmetric warfare strategy to amplify their message to billions around the globe. What role does the Western left have in this—the lead role. They are the star, the diva, the heart and soul of the Muslim Brotherhood's power projection into the Western world.

Land-for-peace doesn't work

A common refrain among Democrats is that "October 7th didn't happen in a vacuum," implying, of course, that it's "all Israel's fault" that the Jews were attacked. Sure, blame the victim of numerous genocidal wars by the Arabs. That's a great use of your intellect to convince yourself that if it weren't for Israeli "occupation," or Israeli "aggression," all of these genocidal wars wouldn't have happened.

Well, let's talk about that and see where that leads us. Why did Hamas attack Israel? Was it because Israel allowed tens of thousands of Gazans into Israel every day to work and feed their families? Was it because Israel offered to supply Gaza with water and electricity on the Israeli taxpayer's dime even though billions were flowing into Gaza which could have accomplished these goals already if that money wasn't used for terrorism and embezzled by Palestinians? Or was it because twenty years ago, in 2005, Israel unilaterally withdrew from Gaza, removing every settlement and military presence in hopes that the Palestinians would take the olive branch and stop seeking the destruction of Israel?

The result of the Gaza withdrawal by Sharon was not peace, but the rise of Hamas and hundreds of thousands of rocket attacks into Israeli civilian centers, each of which representing an individual war crime. Furthermore, in a lopsided deal with Hamas, Israel traded 1,027 convicted terrorists in return for a single Israeli soldier, Gilad Shalit. One of the convicted terrorists returned to Gaza in this deal was Yahya Al-Sinwar himself, the mastermind behind the October 7th Massacre. Never mind the fact that Israel saved his life by performing brain surgery on him to remove a terminal tumor. Sinwar was dedicated to the destruction of Israel as nearly every single Palestinian civilian is.

In peace talks, Israel offered up to 98% of Judea and Samaria—falsely known as the "West Bank" in a Jordanian attempt to sever the land's historical connection to the Kingdom of Judah, the very heartland of the Jewish ancestral homeland, which includes Jerusalem, by the way—plus an additional 2% from Israel proper, as well as an incredible offer for Palestinian control over East Jerusalem, which would give them sole sovereignty over the most important Jewish and Christian holy sites in the world. Did I mention that Israel also offered to pay the Palestinians $30B to help them start their "Palestinian" state?

Each time, the Palestinian leadership rejected these offers outright, refusing even to negotiate. This wasn't because they were offered substandard deals. It's because they patently refuse to recognize Israel, and will not budge from that position come hell or high water, making a purported peace with them not only an extremely foolhardy proposition for Israel, but a futile effort in a worthless appeasement strategy.

A problem of ideology, not politics

Make no mistake, this is not a political conflict over land, or some kind of real estate dispute like Russia versus Ukraine. It is an ideological war between radical Islamism which seeks to kill every Jew (not just in Israel, but) on Earth—as per the Hamas founding charter of the 1980's—and a liberal democracy full of people who simply refuse to die. Hamas’ charter is based on an Islamic Hadith that explicitly calls for the genocide of Jews worldwide.

Poll after poll shows that Palestinians overwhelmingly oppose a two-state solution (which as I previously mentioned would actually be a 4-state solution), or recognizing Israel, and support violent attacks against innocent Jewish and Israeli civilians, including an overwhelming support for the atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7th. Their leadership has no interest in building a state; their goal is to destroy a Jewish one, and mark my words, once they're done with Israel, they're coming for the rest of the West. According to internal Palestinian polls, fully 98% of Palestinians hate the USA, and 99% hate the UK.

Western critics of Israel fail to understand that you cannot project liberal democratic values onto a radicalized Middle Eastern population steeped in the ideology and eschatology of the Muslim Brotherhood. This is not about borders; it is about survival. As Ben Shapiro very wisely said, "If Hamas puts down their weapons today, there would be peace today. If Israel put down their weapons today, there would be a genocide [of the Jews] today."

You can't "destroy" Hamas, because that would actually be genocide

The notion that eliminating Hamas is unachievable arises not from Israel’s military capabilities but from the entrenched ideology among the Palestinian population. Hamas is not merely a terrorist organization—it is a reflection of the broader societal values in Gaza, where its ideology is deeply embedded in education, governance, and public life. The Palestinian population overwhelmingly supports Hamas’ founding charter, which calls for the destruction of Israel and genocide against Jews. As a reminder, they're not merely referring to Israeli Jews. They are targeting all Jews no matter where they live. This is not a political conflict. It's a religious war—a jihad against all Jews.

Efforts to eliminate Hamas’ military infrastructure are achievable, but eradicating the ideology requires a complete societal transformation, which is unfeasible in the short term. The truth is that Hamas’ ideology and goals are embraced by much of the Palestinian population, making it impossible to separate the two.

In a recent interview with CNN's anti-Israel Iranian-British reporter Christiane Amanpour, the Queen-consort of Jordan, Rania al-Abdullah, said that Hamas cannot be destroyed, because if it were to be destroyed, the Palestinians would simply create a new, more terrible terrorist organization to replace it.

More terrible than Hamas? An organization which has eclipsed even ISIS with its immeasurably evil atrocities committed with absolute glee? In the words of Douglas Murray, at least the Nazis had to get drunk after a day at the death camps. Hamas did not. They were positively ecstatic about their "great accomplishments" in raping, burning, torturing, mutilating, beheading, and slaughtering Jewish men, women, children, senior citizens, and even their "Jewish" pets...

Where was PETA and #MeToo?

So you won't cry for Jews. Fine. But where was PETA when dogs were shot with AK-47's and cut to pieces simply because they belonged to Jews. If you pour red paint on people wearing fur coats, where is your outrage when they dismember defenseless dogs? What about a Palestinian society which actually rewards the practice of killing innocent dogs (monetarily, yes...), and hanging them by the half dozen in civilian backyards? Is it any surprise that a Palestinian population that was ranked the 8th most racist place on Earth in 2023—combining the results of two distinct independent racism studies by the Washington Post and Business Tech—would butcher and torture dogs, which are considered haram in Islam, while Israel wasn't even ranked in the top 100 most racist countries?

Where was #MeToo when a Jewish woman was gang raped while she watched her baby being placed in the oven and burned to death before she was killed herself? Can you imagine a greater pain for a parent than watching their children being tortured, dismembered, burned, and then killed right in front of their eyes before being murdered themselves? Well, you don't have to imagine it. You can watch it on video, because Israel has all of the Hamas footage from that day, documenting every demented, evil atrocity they performed. Although, be warned if you do, you may not have another restful night's sleep again in your life, or at least for many years to come. Journalists and politicians who watched this material complained of nightmares that wouldn't go away, and many were in tears after watching the gruesome footage.

The woman who watched her baby die wasn't alone. There were so many other parents who had to watch their children being tortured, dismembered, and burned to death right before their eyes, and many other women who were raped, burned, beheaded and violated in the worst possible ways that day. Why haven't we heard a word from the MeToo founders and their followers? Where are Tarana Burke, and Alyssa Milano? Because these women were Jewish, or in the proximity of Jews, I guess the sexual violence they experienced doesn't matter to American liberals and progressives. The silence from the West is deafening.

Yes, there were non-Jews violated, slaughtered, and kidnapped as well. There were Americans, Thai, Germans, and people from all over the world. Why isn't anyone crying for them? Some of these non-Jews are still being held in Hamas underground tunnels right along with Jews, experiencing a living nightmare and being brutalized on a daily basis. Most have likely died by now, but it is assumed that half of those still being held captive are still alive. I imagine many of them wish they were dead. If getting these people back, including a couple of redheaded toddlers, doesn't move the needle for you, then I have to say your sense of priorities is highly disturbing.

The bigger picture of why October 7th even happened the way it did

I won't go into a full account of what the Muslim Brotherhood did on October 7th. There is ample video footage from Hamas GoPros, because here's the kicker... They wanted you all to see this footage. They wanted to terrify and shock. Too bad social media platforms and mainstream media refused to show the videos, because maybe then Western liberals and progressives would have appreciated the sheer horror of what Hamas did to innocent Israelis. Hamas needed a massive military response from Israel as part of their strategy to derail their greatest fear... the peace process with Saudi Arabia, and the Indian railroad from the UAE to Haifa. China needed this initiative to die, Russia needed it to die, Iran needed it to die, and the Palestinians needed it to die.

Why? Because it would have nullified the BRI, China's New Silk Road, excluded both Iran and China from global trade between South East Asia and Europe, and greatly strengthened India—the new rising superpower to emerge in the 21st Century which will soon likely eclipse China and Russia—while increasing Indian involvement in the Middle East, including virtually guaranteeing their inclusion in the 3+1. They are already part of the I2U2, but this would have been a bridge too far for China and Iran. It had to be stopped, and Biden let the Palestinians stop it.

Why did normalization with the KSA have to be undermined at all costs? Because it would sideline the Palestinian cause, allow the rest of the Islamic world to normalize with Israel, and put pressure on the Palestinians to recognize Israel. When the aid money dries up, when the political support for the Palestinian cause wanes, the Palestinians would finally be forced to agree to a peace deal. This, the Palestinians simply could not allow to happen, and neither could the Democrats, so Hamas ruined a carefully coordinated and strategically planned attack of the Quds Force that by all rights should have been much larger than October 7th if Hamas hadn't jumped the gun.

Iran had it all figured out... hundreds of thousands of missiles fired from the Houthis, Hezbollah, Iraq, and Gaza to deplete the Iron Dome, followed by a full-scale missile and drone attack by Iran once Israeli anti-missile defenses were rendered useless. Then, a massive cyber attack to paralyze Israeli infrastructure, ground planes so the Jews couldn't flee, disable stoplights on thoroughfares, and create chaos that would make it impossible for the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) to mobilize its reserves.

Only then was there supposed to be a ground attack by 30,000 Hamas terrorists from Gaza, 50,000 Hezbollah terrorists on ATV's from Lebanon, and another 50,000 Iraqi militia terrorists in Jordan. These terrorists would simultaneously attack Israeli towns and villages, killing everyone in sight, while taking thousands captive. Imagine what would have happened if Hamas didn't spoil this Iranian attack. That's precisely why Iran refused to support Hamas in the early days of the war. They were enraged at the Palestinians.

When someone shows you who they are...

Lord only knows what horrors live in the Jordanian Queen-consort's mind, and what acts of wickedness she believes her Palestinian people capable of performing, but if as she said, they include acts of terror and genocide greater than October 7th, and if the Palestinians will be the ones to create such an evil new terrorist organization, is it not safe to assume that the problem lies squarely in the nature of Palestinian society, and not in Israeli response to their acts of violence? Likewise, is it fair to expect Israel to "find a solution for radical Islamist extremism" when the West hasn't been able to do so with 50 years in the Middle East, and was arguably to blame for its rise in the first place?

Yes, look into England's role in the formation of the Muslim Brotherhood in 1928, and their ongoing support for it via media organizations like Al-Jazeera and the BBC. Examine the CIA's role in the radicalization of the Taliban and other Middle Eastern Islamist terrorist organizations in the 1980's in order to fight the Soviets. That's an interesting Pandora's Box to open. Regardless, who are we to argue with the Palestinian Queen about her people's capacity for terrorism and destruction? Does she not know them better than we do?

Perhaps those of us in the West who think that the Palestinians are open to peace should ask the people of the Palestinian Territories whether they support Hamas. We've all seen the clips of American Palestinian activists saying, "We are Hamas!" A well-known American poet once said, "When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time. People know themselves much better than you do. That's why it's important to stop expecting them to be something other than who they are." #MayaAngelou If you won't believe me, maybe at least you'll listen to her.

What the Democrats consistently do wrong abroad

The Democrats’ policies exacerbate all of the issues mentioned above. The Biden Administration has lifted sanctions on Iran and allowed it to sell oil, funneling hundreds of billions into its economy. These funds go directly to the Quds Force, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, destabilizing the region and directly threatening Israel, Europe, and even other Islamic nations. Did you know that Iran recently launched missiles into Pakistan, and not so long ago attacked Saudi Arabia, blowing up their oil fields and disrupting the world economy for months? No wonder the Saudis made a treaty with China and Iran, and have recently been performing military drills with the Iranians in the Red Sea. They're terrified of Iran.

Nobody likes the Iranian regime in the Middle East except for the terrorists who are allied with them. This is clear from the Middle Eastern reaction whenever Israel attacks Iran or one of its proxies. The Arabs both secretly and openly cheer for Israel when it fights against Iran.

Meanwhile, the Biden Administration has delayed, and is still delaying to this day, weapon systems deliveries that Israel purchased over a year ago, imposing a de facto illegal weapons embargo against Israel in contravention of US law and the ruling of the US Congress. These weapons are critical not only for defeating Hamas and Hezbollah, but for countering direct Iranian aggression, as Israel now finds itself in a full confrontation with Iran for the first time. These systems also include defensive tools to dismantle mine fields and defend against other threats that would needlessly lead to countless Israeli deaths if not provided by the US as agreed.

It is a miracle that Netanyahu showed enough restraint not to send Iran back to the Stone Age and make it glow in the dark, because if the US had experienced an unprovoked attack of hundreds of suicide drones, cruise missiles, hypersonic missiles, and ballistic missiles from Mexico onto American cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Phoenix, Tucson, and Austin, it is this author's confident opinion that there would be such an uproar from the American public and its government, that Mexico would now be a no-man's land—a desolate, barren wasteland where only coyotes and the ghosts of a bygone nation roam its once-fully populated cities.

Democrats' failure to protect American Jews at home

On the domestic front, antisemitic attacks have surged under Biden and Harris. Jewish students on college campuses face harassment, discrimination, and physical intimidation, threats, and actual violence from students, staff, and outsiders from radical Islamist groups. There has been little to no government response under the Democrats, often making comments that justified this violence, as in Kamala's statement that she "understands" and "doesn't blame" the protestors and "agrees" that there is a genocide happening in Gaza. The only effective tool to combat this—Title VI protections for Jewish students—was instituted under Trump. Likewise, it was Trump who adopted the IHRA Definition of Antisemitism which protected American Jews from violent hate speech that called for their destruction.

The Democrats have done nothing to expand or enforce these protections, instead tolerating antisemitic rhetoric from prominent radical Islamist party members like Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar with support from extremists like AOC, Cory Bush, Jamaal Bowman, and other members of the DSA. Moreover, Biden's "Antisemitism Initiative" actually rolled back protections for American Jews, discarding/nullifying the IHRA Definition by accepting the Nexus Definition which allows hate speech against Jews. The Jewish American community is uniquely targeted among minorities, as its religious symbols, indigenous rights, and very identity fall squarely within the socially acceptable Overton Window for attacks on its existence.

In a baffling move, the Biden Administration also involved the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in its bid to "stop" antisemitism, inviting an organization that has served as a front for Hamas, and was a named co-conspirator in the largest terrorist funding case in American history to "protect" American Jews. From whom exactly? This was a classic case of fox in the hen house.

Guess how many CAIR rallies Kamala attended, and which organizations funded her campaign? Perhaps you should ask yourself why the National Iranian American Council (NIAC) was also a contributor, especially since Kamala's security advisor was a frequent speaker at NIAC events in Qatar, one of the three headquarters of the Muslim Brotherhood, and why Kamala decided to appoint him Secretary of State, 4th in line for the US Presidency. NIAC is a known front for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), a designated terrorist organization on the US Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO) List.

More failed foreign policy

The Democrats’ insistence on ceasefires, their threats to withhold military aid, their push for unilateral recognition of a "Palestinian" state without preconditions, and their threat to end the US veto at the UN to protect Israel from authoritarian member states which seek its destruction are all policies which reward terrorism, and advance the agendas of US adversaries like China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran. By forcing Israel into restraint while allowing Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran free rein to regroup and rearm, the Democrats regularly act to prolong the conflict indefinitely, and increase casualties on both sides. The message to terrorists worldwide is clear, "The Democratic Party rewards violence against Jews". The message to Israel and Jews is also clear, "You do not matter". This is a recipe for disaster, not just for Israel, but for every democracy on Earth.

Speaking of decidedly poor foreign policy decisions, Biden’s disengagement from Africa further compounds these issues. As China, Iran, and Turkey expand their influence throughout Africa (which is an integral part of the Middle East), China has been busy building an intricate web of debt traps and infrastructure projects which have gradually eroded US influence throughout the African continent. The US has abandoned the region, as Biden has not visited Africa even once during his term in the White House, leaving African nations to drift toward authoritarian powers and wonder why the US is totally MIA. Do Democrats actually want Africans to support China? It sure seems so. This failure in foreign policy is interpreted as racism by Africans and their leaders, further alienating them and accelerating the decline of US influence in the region.

Israel is a democracy, and Netanyahu is its democratically-elected leader

Additionally, the Democrats' obsession with blaming Netanyahu for the aggression of Palestinians and Iranian terrorist proxies is nothing short of disingenuous. The claim that defections from Israel’s war council signal deep divisions or a lack of confidence in Prime Minister Netanyahu is baseless. Even leaders from Israel’s left-wing opposition, such as Benny Gantz, have publicly stated that Netanyahu’s approach is correct and that they would handle Gaza in the exact same manner. These defections are largely symbolic and reflect individual political maneuvers, not a substantive critique of the government’s strategy.

Netanyahu isn't perfect, but he's a centrist leader, enjoys record-high approval ratings among Israelis, with overwhelming public support for the war effort. And if your next argument is that Israelis have an extremist right wing society, I would like to remind you that the 2022 annual Democracy Index from the prestigious Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) ranked Israel the 23rd most democratic country in the world out of a total of 167 countries, on par with France and the UK, and a rating decidedly higher than Spain, Portugal, Italy, and even the United States, which should thoroughly dismantle the narrative that Israel is an extremist or undemocratic state.

If Israel is an "apartheid" state, then so are all the other countries I just mentioned, never mind the fact that an Israeli-Arab Muslim Supreme Court Justice put the Israeli Prime Minister in jail, the Chairman of the largest bank in Israel is Arab, and many Arab Muslims serve in the IDF. Arabs in Israel are doctors lawyers, accountants, and even have their own party in the Israeli Parliament despite the well-known fact that these Palestinian Arab Members of Parliament are openly part of the Muslim Brotherhood, and oppose the existence of the State of Israel. If that isn't democratic, then I don't know what is.

Claims that Israel is an "apartheid" state, or that its population is very right wing are simply false. Israel is as liberal as they come, and is decidedly more liberal than the USA. But this doesn't stop the propaganda. Why? Don't ask me. Ask the Democrats. They're the ones spreading it. I do know why this is happening, but that's a conversation for another time. It's a long, complex story having to do with... you guessed it... money!

Why Israel is important to the free world

Be that as it may, Israel stands on the frontlines of the global fight against terrorism and authoritarianism. Its refusal to concede more land is not just about national survival; it is about preserving the principles of justice and democracy in a region that is more hostile than anywhere else on Earth. The US is protected by an ocean on both sides, and friendly countries on both its North American borders, so it doesn't have to live with the immediate ramifications of tyranny and terrorism.

However, it would be a grave mistake to continue rewarding Hamas the way the Democrats have been doing. This has emboldened radical Islamist extremists worldwide, destabilizing global norms and spreading chaos into virtually every continent. If we continue to support such foreign policy it will not only encourage aggressive land grabs, but definitively guarantee it as a new global reality.

I voted against the Democrats because their policies are fundamentally antisemitic, unjust, and anti-Israel. They enable terrorism, destabilize democracies, and abandon Jewish communities both at home and abroad. Democrats consistently enable anti-American demonstrations among their own party members, and refuse to call them out. In fact, they support them, just like Bernie Sanders did by helping Rashida Talib to celebrate "Apartheid Week" in the Senate after she was denied by Kevin McCarthy in the House.

Israel’s extraordinary efforts to minimize civilian harm against enemy entities and nations, its history of concessions, and its fight against existential threats deserve support, not condemnation. To stand with Israel is to stand for truth, justice, and democracy. To support the Democrats’ narrative is to betray those values.

This is why I voted for Trump, and why I reject the Democrats’ policies. Republicans have been very clear, "We support Israel and American Jews". The Democrats have also been very clear that they do neither of those things. This is why I voted against the Democrats, because I will not allow my liberal nature to support a party that opposes and attacks Israel, America's greatest ally, and the principles that safeguard our world, including these great United States.
